1. Registration

By registering for and attending this event, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions.

You confirm that the information provided during registration is accurate and complete.

2. Event Changes

The organisers reserve the right to modify the event program, speakers, venue, timing or format where necessary.

If circumstances beyond our control require cancellation or postponement of the event, attendees will be notified as soon as reasonably possible.

3. Participant Conduct

Attendees are expected to behave respectfully towards speakers, organisers, volunteers and other participants.

The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any attendee whose behaviour is disruptive, inappropriate, unsafe or unlawful.

4. Health and Wellbeing Disclaimer

The content presented during this event is intended for educational, personal development and informational purposes only.

The session does not constitute medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal or professional advice. Participants should seek appropriate professional assistance for personal health or mental health concerns.

5. Photography and Video Recording

Photography, video recording and audio recording may occur during the event.

By attending the event, you acknowledge that your image, voice or likeness may be captured and used by the organisers for promotional, educational, marketing and archival purposes, including use on websites, social media platforms, printed materials and future event promotions.

If you do not wish to appear in photographs or recordings, please notify the organisers prior to or upon arrival at the event and reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate your request.

6. Privacy

Personal information collected during registration will be used for event administration, communication and event-related purposes.

Your information will be handled in accordance with applicable Australian privacy laws and will not be sold to third parties.

Information may be shared with service providers involved in delivering the event where reasonably necessary.

7. Email and SMS Communications

Event-related communications such as registration confirmations, event reminders and logistical updates may be sent to registered attendees.

Separate consent will be sought for marketing communications, newsletters, future event promotions and other promotional content.

You may withdraw marketing consent or unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe option provided in communications.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the organisers are not liable for any personal injury, loss, damage or expense incurred as a result of attendance at the event, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

Attendees participate at their own risk.

9. Acceptance

Participants under the age of 18 must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to attend the event. By registering for the event, attendees under 18 confirm that such consent has been obtained. The organisers reserve the right to request confirmation of parental or guardian consent where reasonably required.

  • Information We Collect: We collect your first name, last name, email address, mobile number, organization, and attendee counts to manage the registrations.
  • How We Use It: Your data is used exclusively to verify registration, assign Entry QR codes, send entry confirmation emails via Resend, and coordinate logistics (including food allergens and follow-up calls).
  • Secure Storage: All personal details are stored inside a secure database
  • Your Rights: You can contact us at any time at melbourne@srmd.org to inquire about your data, update details, or request full deletion of your registration.
